  • Meg Summers

    DVM

Meet Dr. Meg Summers, a dedicated veterinarian originally from Greenfield, Indiana. After earning a degree in marine biology from the University of Tampa, Dr. Summers found her calling during a transformative summer in South Africa, sparking a journey into veterinary medicine. Throughout college, she volunteered at small animal clinics, laying the foundation for her commitment to furry companions. The vibrant pulse of New York City became her training ground, where she spent 3.5 years in a high-paced small animal practice, making a mark in urban pet care. Driven by a sense of duty and passion for surgery, she also contributed her skills to the ASPCA, participating in spay/neuter shifts. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. Dr. Summers brings a rich skill set to East Hampton Veterinary Group and is excited to work with her new patients and clients. Outside the clinic, you can find Dr. Summers with her golden retriever, Bondi, next to her side, listening to Taylor Swift and catching a New York Rangers game whenever possible.
